What You’ll Learn?
This self-paced course gives you hands-on experience with Navisworks Manage, focusing on its most powerful features used in real-world BIM workflows

Model Auditing
Check BIM models for errors, missing geometry, and metadata to ensure coordination-readiness and compliance. Prevent issues early by checking models for completeness.

Clash Detection
Learn how to identify, organize, and resolve model clashes between disciplines like architecture, structure, and MEP. Improve coordination efficiency by resolving spatial conflicts.

Quantity Take-Off (QTO)
Extract quantities and material data directly from BIM models. Support estimation and planning through quantity extraction from the model.
This program is for you, if you are:

BIM Modelers

Architects and Engineers
Working on BIM-enabled projects and needing to validate design compatibility and model integrity

QA/QC Engineers

Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, and Coordinators
Learning Outcomes

-
Model Auditing – Ensuring Model Quality from the Start
Learn how to manually and visually audit BIM models for:
- Missing geometry or broken elements
- Incomplete or inconsistent metadata
- Coordination-readiness issues
Why this matters:
✅ BIM Modelers: Prevent downstream errors through early checks
✅ Architects & Engineers: Validate incoming models before design integration
✅ QA/QC Engineers: Enforce model standards and readiness for site teams
-
Clash Detection – Identifying and Managing Interdisciplinary Conflicts
Develop skills to:
- Run clash tests between architectural, structural, and MEP models
- Classify, filter, and prioritize clashes using sets and rules
- Generate detailed clash reports and assign issues to the right teams
Why this matters:
✅ BIM Modelers: Take charge of coordination deliverables
✅ Architects & Engineers: Proactively avoid conflicts with external models
✅ QA/QC Engineers: Confirm clash resolution before site execution

-
Quantity Take-Off –
Extracting Project Data for Planning and Costing
You’ll learn to:
- Extract quantities directly from federated BIM models
- Apply filters and selection sets to get discipline-specific data
- Export QTOs to support estimation, procurement, and planning
Why this matters:
✅ BIM Modelers: Provide precise data for cost and material workflows
✅ Architects & Engineers: Validate quantities against design assumptions
✅ QA/QC Engineers: Monitor quantity deviations across planning and execution
