While specific training on 4D-5D BIM tools isn’t included, the course covers essential strategies and workflows to effectively use BIM for project management and cost estimation. You’ll also learn to extract quantities from BIM models.

What if I miss any session?

Don’t worry! All live session recordings will be made available for 9 months, even though the course itself runs for 4.5 months. This means you can review the material at your own pace, catch up on anything you miss, or revisit sessions anytime during that extended period.

Which software tools will be covered in this course?

This course covers two key aspects of BIM: BIM Process Management and BIM Model Management. Under BIM Model Management, you will get hands-on exposure to industry-standard software tools such as Autodesk Navisworks Manage, BIM Collab Zoom, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

How will the required hardware and software for this course be provided?

You don’t need any special hardware beyond your own laptop and internet connection. We’ll provide 60 hours of access to all required BIM software and hardware via virtual machines, which you can pre-book in 1–2 hour sessions. This access is available for 6 months, even though the course itself runs for 4.5 months. If you need extra hours for practice beyond the included 60, you can purchase additional time as needed.

Who is this course for?

This program is designed for experienced professionals involved in architecture, engineering, construction, or BIM management. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required to undertake this course. If you are already working in the BIM domain, then at least 2 years of BIM-specific experience is required.

Will we learn to create a BIM model in this course?

This course focuses on the principles, standards, and management practices required to guide and oversee BIM model creation, rather than hands-on modeling itself. You’ll learn how to set modeling guidelines, review models, and ensure quality control in a BIM environment.

Is there any certification provided?

Yes! Upon successful completion of the program, including submission and acceptance of all required assignments, you will receive a BIM Management Professional Certificate from BIM House Global. You’ll also receive a digital badge.
